License Agreement =================================================================== 1. Overview of this Hot Fix Release ======================================================================== Hot fix 1091 resolves the issue wherein the ServerProtect 5.7 Control Manager(TM) agent can not distinguish between 32-bit and 64-bit virus scan engine files. If the versions for these two scan engine files are different in the same Information Server, Control Manager will treat these as having outdated engine versions even when these files are up-to-date. 1.1 Files Included in This Release ====================================================================== Module Filename Build No. Control Management Agent libEN_Product.dll 5.70.0.1091 Information Server EarthAgent.exe 5.70.0.1091 32 bits Normal Server StRpcSrv.dll 5.70.0.1091 64bits Normal Server StRpcSrv.dll 5.70.0.1091 Normal Server Hot fix file Hotfix.ini n/a Patch files Tmpatch.exe 2.0.0.1072 readme.txt n/a license.txt n/a 2. What's New ======================================================================== Hot fix 1091 enables the Control Manager agent to distinguish between 32-bit and 64-bit virus scan engines. After applying hot fix 1091: - ServerProtect shows the Control Manager 64-bit virus scan engine as "Scan Engine for Windows XP/Server 2003 on x64 architecture", while ServerProtect shows the 32-bit virus scan engine as "NTKD" - when Control Manager checks whether the virus scan engine is out of date, it will distinguish between a 32-bit and 64-bit scan engine 3.
