1. Overview of this Hot Fix Release
========================================================================
    This hot fix addresses the following issues:

    1. IWSS failed to block the "eicar.com" url in ICAP mode when 
       IntelliScan is used.
    
    2. Child processes of IWSSD use excessive memory after the process 
       finishes. This is caused by a performance issue that occurs during 
       the pattern update. During the pattern update, a lot of memory swaps
       in/out when all child processes are finished.

2. What's New
========================================================================
   
   1. The hot fix corrects the tmp extension name when IWSS handles 
      small files to prevent the virus leakage issue in ICAP mode.
   
   2. The issue will be addressed by using the "_exit()" function instead 
      of the "exit()" function internally. Child processes of IWSSD will 
      no longer use excesive memory when their processes have finished.

   Patch 5 is required for installing this hot fix.


5. Installation/Un-installation
========================================================================
   To install the hot fix:
   
   1) Extract this IWSS 2.2 Solaris hot fix package.

   2) From the directory containing the IWSS 2.2 hot fix installation
      script, type the following command:

      ./iwssinst

   3) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.


   To un-install this hot fix and roll back to the previous build:

   1) From the directory containing the IWSS 2.2 hot fix installation
      script, type the following command:

      ./iwssinst

   2) In the next screen, type "y" for confirmation.

   3) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the un-installation.

   Note: Only one level of rollback is supported.

   Note: Trend Micro recommends that you update your scan engine and  
         virus pattern files immediately after installing this hot fix.
